Got this from a friend for my 3 yr old's birthday. It's VERY easy to work, 2 simple buttons. There is an option for the buttons to make sounds when you push them, as well as a silent option! The car has a shutoff feature. The remote & the car EACH take batteris...5 in all! That's a lot of batteries, but with the silent mode on the remote & the option to turn off the car, I am hoping we won't kill the batteries too quickly.
It's 3 easy parts...Not too small, perfect for an older toddler. This also feels "good"...not flimsy.
We have driven this over thick carpet, carpet tiles, linoleum & wood floors...Works on all of them!

My daughter has never had a remote controlled vehicle before and she received this for her 5th birthday. It is so much fun, so cute and very easy to use. She's played with it non-stop for 2 days. The remote plays music which is actually pretty cute. However, I believe that you can mute the sound. It's educational value is in figuring out how to turn the car when it gets stuck or in navigating around objects. Otherwise, it is simply a really fun toy. We've only had it for a few days, so I can't comment on it's durability yet. I would definitely give this as a gift to someone - perhaps girls ages 4-7.

Smells like berries! Easy to use; even the 3-year old can use it. Sometimes the front wheel gets stuck on the carpet and it needs a push. Easier to use on tile and hardwood floor. Buttons jammed on a few occasions. Wish it took less batteries. Overall, a good, fun toy. My daughter enjoyed it as a Christmas gift. Appropriate for older girls too!

Got this as a present for my daughter's 4th birthday. She had never played with a an RC toy before but she got the hang of this car very quickly. She's had a blast and that's what counts!

We got this for my little niece for her 3rd birthday. She really wanted an RC car, but I was really saddened by the selection of said cars for 1) Her age and 2) Her gender! What is up? Little girls don't want to race cars too?! Well, then, I came across the Strawberry Shortcake car. It is perfect!!!!!! It is durable and controls very well. It can go from bare floor to carpet without stopping or flipping over and it is so darn cute! She loves it and I couldn't be happier!
