Quality is not what you expect from Playmobil!Aug 24, 2011
By Amy Marie Jackson Unlike other Playmobil products, this one is made in China and you can immediately see and feel the difference in quality. We have several vehicles and playmobil sets and we have never had issues with quality. This comes pre-constructed and the bus door broke before we could get the stickers on. I immediately emailed Playmobil and they responded very quickly saying they would replace the door at no charge if I sent them the part number. Unfortunately there is no part number. I am sure Playmobil will resolve this issue for me, however, I wanted to inform others that this bus is not made with the same quality as other Playmobil toys!

Not the usual good quality playmobilAug 23, 2011
By ketika I love playmobil, and have many diffrent sets. Although this is a good toy it lacks in quality in comparison to other playmobil. I was dissapointed to say the least. My 2 year however seams to disagree and loves the toy.

Toy of choice for 5 months and countingNov 30, 2011
By Melanie Fun:
I don't know if it is the simple faces ( they leave space for one to use one's imagination ) and bodies or all the details ( removable backpacks on the children, working lights on the top of the buss, hands that clamp to seats to keep the children in place, a door that opens and closes, a hat and hair on the driver that come off ) but this toy has kept an often fickle two year old happy for 5 months now. She talks to the "boys" and "girl", has tea with them, communicates to me via conversations with them, loads them in and out of the bus. The toy is apparently so appealing that her also two yr old cousin just had to have one when he saw her with hers and I have heard likes his almost as much as she likes hers.
Durability:
Unlike other reviewers I have found this toy to be very durable. My child has been playing with this toy and the "boys" that come with it for about 5 months now. She often gets frustrated when unable to keep the boys in their seat or close the door or cover the bus. These bouts usually end with the bus being flung across the room and much to my surprise nothing has broken off. She did of course pull off the stop sign and misplace it but since that is meant to be a removable part I did not count it as a flaw.
Add-ons:
This line has so many additions it is obscene. Needless to say you can always build on this set without ever worrying about exhausting your options.
Concerns:
These toys have lots of small parts so if you are not playing with your child or if they like tasting everything you may want to reconsider. Also, it can be challenging ( depending on the child's age ) getting the boys to stay in their seats, getting the driver into his, covering the bus, closing the bus door all the way and putting backpacks on and taking them off i.e. this toy may cause emotional outbursts or require more participation from you than you hoped ! Overall though the joy and entertainment that it has brought has far outweighed the frustration.
Recommend: I certainly would !
Quality is not the normal Playmobil quality.Apr 12, 2012

"The runner"
Once I opened the box I could tell that this thing was made in China. It comes with two sets of stickers, English and Spanish. The door is very hard to work, which makes it hard for the kids to use. The people in the set are also of lower quality. I guess even the best companies cannot fight off the cheap cost of labor in China. Avoid all playmobil items made in China.
Playmobil it's always fun!Feb 19, 2012
By Gui Ramos What to say about a detailed and lifeful toy such as playmobil! Any parent who wants to give his kids a toy should consider it, specially with the infinite possibilities when it comes to storytelling that playmobil brings! A MUST!
