great toy, great refillSep 02, 2009
By Anonymous in Canada Pixos are very enjoyed by my 7 year old. They take awhile to dry and are best done by hand as the pen and studio can be frustrating. We love the crystal pixos a lot..they are beautiful the way they catch the light. We have also discovered that you can download more designs off the pixos website and you can also design your own patterns there too.

The kids really like the pixos, but I think they are unnecessarily expenseive. I got the idea when I ordered this refill that it was a pound of pixos - but it was only about 3 ounces.

By Ariana Drown The pieces of this toy are extremely small. As an adult I did not have the patience for a toy with such tiny little pieces. So it is a good thing the toy is my daughters. She absolutley loves it, I can't get her to stop playing with it. Although when I clean I tend to find tiny little pixo balls alll ove rmy house:) It is a fun toy though, my daughter can't get enough of it.

Have purchased the pixos base toy and several refills for both my grandsons who are 6 and 7 yrs old. They love it. Although I find the refills to be a little pricey , they more than make up for by stretching the little one's imagination in allowing them to be creative . They both love the sets and spend hours of their time in playing with them.
