This is overall a good arts and crafts toy. It is great for producing creativity in kids. My daughter actually started making her own designs without the patterns. This refill pack has great colors in it.

Pixos are nice and unlike perler beads, I don't have to get out the iron. However, they're too expensive. It has less to do with the seller than with the supplier. Also, they need to give more ideas. We're creative but there's also educational value in following instructions/patterns.
Our Michael's has clearanced Pixos ... price, maybe? Lower the price (it's plastic!!!). Stay in business.

I ordered three of these refills for my kids who loved the starter set they got for Christmas, because they wanted more red. When it came, there was blue, green, white, and brown. No red. Red is pictured. Boooooooooo!!!!

I ordered this refill for my daugher and having read previous customer reviews I was skeptical about the lack of red color. It's true, the online picture shows red and the actual package does not have it. If you are really looking red pixos do not buy this refill pack.
