PaperoniOct 05, 2009
By L. Hooks The first thing to know about this toy is that the pieces are very small and dangerous if you have a young child or small dog that could put these pieces in their mouths. This toy stays at my house (the Granny) so that our younger granddaughter is not in danger of swallowing the little pieces. It had my 5 year old granddaughter entranced. She worked on placing the little pieces of noodles on the sticky surface for over an hour without loosing interest. If you buy the deluxe studio with the paper cutter, the kids really enjoy doing that. The instructions tell you the size to cut of each color. It's easy to follow the instructions. You take the yellow noodle and place it on the sticky surface on the yellow backgroun. If you put the colors in the right area, it will look just like the product says. Of course you can allow for creativity by allowing the children to cut different sizes of paperoni and placing them where ever they'd like. This is a good tool to help with fine motor skills. The refills are rather pricey, so take a look at that before you buy the studio. The studio comes with 2 projects.

Not worth the money.Nov 27, 2009

I bought this for my 5 yr old, who loves arts and crafts. She loved the paper cutter, but if you push on the paper roll down in the cutter it moves the dial and will change the paper size. So we constantly had to keep checking the paper size. Pros: Paper cutter was fun for my daughter. Mess free arts and craft project. Cons: Only comes with 2 templates. You have to continue to spend more money to buy more. The templates are stick, like tape so the paper will stick on them. Once you make your design, such as the lion or the mouse, you can't play with it because the paper that sticks to the template will fall off. There is nothing fun to do with the design once completed. It can be frustrating as you put all these little rolls of paper together, some of them fall off the the template and you have to try to re-stick them on . At least pixos, they could play around them, hang them on a window or refrigerator. Bottom line: Don't waste your money to buy an arts and crafts project that at your child can't play with. You will then end up having to pick up these small rolls of paper from the floor.

I bought this for my ten year old who was having his adenoids removed. I needed a few quiet activities and this is what he expressed an interest in. WE loved it! During the World Series, he made a NY Yankees logo, buy putting a template behind the clear adhesive! It came out GREAT and I'm pretty sure that led to them winning the World Series! <;-) The downside, yes, it only comes with two templates for activities, but there is no reason no to get more! We had absolutly no problem at all with the adhesive and his creations have been moved all over the house without a problem!! The ONLY reason I gave it a 4 star review vs a 5 star review was because it only comes with two templates....thus making it a bit expensive for a craft. We have not tried, but will try, to create our own with glue! There is plenty of paperoni to make more!!!!!!

My 5 year old daughter loves it!Sep 24, 2009
By R. Wood This is a fun arts & crafts project. I only wish it came with more than 2 templates. However, you can buy other Paperoni kits that are cheaper and come with templates and more paper things. :) I would recommend this product to anyone who has kids that loves arts & crafts!

This is JUNK!Dec 28, 2009
By H. Lovley What an absolute dissapointment. I just threw the lion in the trash. This is ridiculous. The sticky stuff on the Lion body form is NOT sticky enough. I hope my daughter doesn't want to try to make the mouse now. She even got sick of it quickly, you cannot make the papers stick to the form long enough to complete the project. As with other reviewers this would not hold up to even sit on a shelf. Totally dissappointed. Both my daughters aged 6 and 8 do not like this. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
