By S. Monroe My 5 and 7 y/o daughters received this as a Christmas gift. They enjoy working with craft kits- so I figured this one would be as entertaining. The kit comes with a container of rolled paper- all cut to size and ready to use. It also comes with sticky templates, long rolls of paper and a cutter to cut these longer pieces down to size. The cutter is very cheaply made- it does not stay in the correct setting. While using it you have to constantly check to be sure the cutter is on the right length. We also noticed that the cutter can not cut the paper rolls to the same size as the ones that come precut in the kit. A rather ridiculous discovery! This makes your creations bumpy and lumpy. About 5 minutes in- my 7 y/o proclaims "This is kind of dumb. What am I supposed to do with this when I'm done with it?" She had a very good point. They are not toys to play with when they are finished. They are pretty fragile and the paper pieces fall off easily, so you can not use them as a magnet or hang them up anywhere. It's a pointless exercise in placing paper pieces on a sticky template- that's as far as it goes. To sum it up... this kit may occupy your child while they stick paper bits on sticky plastic... but once they are done they have nothing substantial to show for their time investment. There is no educational value either, so you can't justify it as a process art project. I would recommend purchasing a higher quality craft kit that will give your child a useful product to show for their work.

By Candice P Ugh. Tiny rolls of colored paper all over the place. The paper rolls refuse to stick to forms well enough to satisfy child and the mess they make is irritating. Been in storage box for months and hoping to sneak it into trash soon.

By N. Martel My 4 year old daughter begged for this kit. We got it for her as a Potty training reward. She tore open the package, cut up some paper, then handed me the kit. "You do it, Mommy." I did some paper sticking for her, and she soon lost interest. The next day she asked me to take the kit back to the store because it was boring. (Which I couldn't do because it was already open.) I agree with the reviewer that also gave this one star. Not very educational or durable.
