Super FunApr 28, 2011
I got the Orbeez Stack Ems' yesterday. I read the directions and was very surprised you had to use 8 oz. of water for every quarter tablespoon of Orbeez. It also said to use bottled water for the best results. I used bottled water and about 3 to 3 1/2 hours later the Orbeez were fully grown. I liked that this set came with the boxes, though the set came with six colors and only 4 boxes. The Orbeez are very fun just to feel and squish. If you squish the Orbeez too hard they break apart into pieces. I would recommend this product to anybody. My sisters and I love them.

Cool and squishy!Jan 12, 2011
By EKC My daughters (6,8,9) really are enjoying these crazy things. I think they will continue to reinvent ways to grow and play and create with Orbeez. I will definitely give them as a gift to others. Caution: keep them away from sinks or other drains that may clog!

By s schneider my daughter loves these. Has a great time soaking them and filling all my vases and wineglasses with them to make pretty centerpieces...they do collect dust when left out

simple, silly funFeb 28, 2011
By Anam Cara I know that this product has received mixed reviews, but I have an 8 year old and a 12 year old who love playing with them. The concept is really simple; miniature bbs when soaked in water enlarge and become jello-like balls.
In order to make these things "work", your kids really need to be able to come up with their own ideas and uses for them. My kids tend to lean toward creating games when they do object play. For them, these were ripe with possibilities in creating designs and "recipies". They have friends who are equally fascinated by these and others who say "what's the big deal?"
Given that, it is probably more important to know your kids and their play style than to have strong feelings one way or the other about Orbeez. For kids who are meticulous or who create their own play, these are a hit.

not very usefulFeb 22, 2011
By slick if you store the orbeez for any length of time they start to smell, so these boxes are really kind of a waste of money in my opinion.
