Great...while it lastsJan 12, 2009

My 7 year old daughter loved these when she got them for Christmas. She spent quite a bit of time over the course of 3-4 days working on them, and then she was finished. It was great while it lasted. There are 4 pictures included and they're a good size. The pictures themselves are on hard sheets of paperboard. The stickers are little colored pieces mounted on a square of foam. The stickers were a little difficult for my daughter to get started, but once I pulled one off for her she didn't have any trouble.

For the nay-sayers!Jan 04, 2010

Many people think that an "art" project is only useful if the art is conceived and executed totally from the mind of the child. I don't believe this is so at all. There are many children who are not artistic but would find satisfaction in creating an art piece as pretty and detailed as these all by themselves.
Although there is no thought to the artistic process in these, they are very good for developing a few very important life skills. Attention spans are dangerously short these days. These require patience but are just rewarding enough to egg a child on to place "just one more" square. Before they know it, a picture is done and they can reap the rewards of their perseverence. Another skill is fine motor. Again, just large enough to be rewarding but small enough to be challenging. My autistic son has horrible fine motor skills but loves "helping" his sister with her mosaics. He also has the attention span of a knat, so this is rewarding for him - quickly. Frankly, I'll be purchasing these for his OT instructor to use with him.
It's not about how long this keeps the little darlings out of our hair, but how engrossed they can become in something simple and quiet and good for them. 5 stars and kudos to the folks who thought this up!!

This is a craft that I bought for my 6-year old. She really likes it and its something that she can do with no help, although my older daughter has been helping just because it's fun.

Easy to use and lots of fun. One picture kept my 6 year old occupied for about an hour.
