Don't really understand the problemNov 27, 2010

Every review I see on these toys, people seem so upset by the fact that the stands don't stay on the pigs feet. I really don't see what the big deal is. Is it the best design that they aren't permanently attached? No, but, being the problem solver that I am, I simply dropped a smidge of superglue into each hole under the pigs feet & then set them on the stand & guess what.... now they are permanent! :) And, because I dropped the glue inside the hole, no glue got on the outside of the toy, however, if your child still puts toys in their mouth, they probably shouldn't play with these small items. Anyway, its been over 2 months now & the stands are still staying put. My daughter loves them & replaced her dollhouse family with her Olivia pig family. Her enjoyment of the characters was definitely worth the few minutes it took to make them more durable. If your child loves Olivia pig, these are well worth it!

Got this for our 2 1/2 yr old for Christmas b/c she loves the cartoon.....i have to say the fact that the stands are removable (and do not stay on even when you put them on) is VERY annoying. THe pigs will NOT stand w/o the stands; the mom needs a special one b/c her feet are closer together than the other 3, yet the stands are not marked; this is VERY frustrating to not only our 2 yr old but also our 5 year old who is trying to help her sister. I will prob end up trying to superglue these stands to their feet at some point, but I'm clueless as to why this is even an option. WHy would you even want the stands off? Doesn't make sense to me. A bit disappointed in the gift.

My grand daughter really wanted this and liked it when I gave it to her, however, I was disappointed that the figures were as small as they were for a price of $25. In all fairness, something this size should be $15 or less. The only reason I am rating this so high is because of her reaction and the fact that she loves it. I feel it is a bit over priced, but I like it because she does and that was the reason I purchased it.
I see now the price is starting to come down.

Figurines will not stand on their own or very well in the stands that it comes with. This is very frustrating for a little kid!

The toy set was for my grand daughter. She wanted it for a couple of years. She loves it. I thought that the pieces were too small,too many to loose. It was kind of a small set,but its not for me. It shiped on time and a great product. She's happy with it.
