Fun little Single-shooterJan 06, 2011
By L. This gun is one of the funnest single shot guns out there right now. While the rail's design is a little poor, its not a deal breaker. However, what would break the deal is the price. It is basically the same as the Nightfinder EX-3, minus the built in light. However, it does come with 2 accessories that are fun to use, be it a bit ridiculous on the Element but good on other guns. The light is the same as the one you get on the Recon and the scope can be used on the Longstrike. It is also surprising that this single shot pistol has the same firing power as the Maverick. You have to do some zero'ing to get the aim somewhat accurate.
This gun shouldn't be used in a major fire-fight and can not compete with anything other than other single shot guns. It can't be used as a last resort weapon either due to its size. Its a good addition to any nerf collection, however, I wouldn't recommend it as a first gun or first choice in single shot guns, for that go with the Nightfinder since its cheaper. However, this gun does come with a light accessory so it can match the Nightfinder, a scope, for whatever it may be worth, great for a Longstrike, be it for looks only, and 12 suction darts. which is 9 more then the Nightfinder.

Totally awesome!Dec 17, 2011
I am just a kid, but know a lot about Nerf. I really like this gun because it shoots really far, and is accurate. I didn't get this from amazon, so I won't say anything about the light or scope. I took the air restrictor out, carved off a little bump in the barrel that was making my bullets fly weird places and now it's totally awesome! works great with whistler darts, though you could lose some streamline in the dart holder. Overall, a great toy!

NICE STARTER NERF BUT...Jan 01, 2012

This is a nice starter Nerf. Especially for young kids 6, and younger. It's easier for our son (7) to pull the handle back to arm and shoot the next round. This was the Nerf he started with. The other markers are still a bit hard for him to cock and arm (but getting easier for him now). The add ons are nice, but not really functional, nor practical. Our son tried the add ons for a while, but then just left them lying around. Well, the laser he does use sometimes, but not with the gun, just seperate. The suction darts are really cool. But for the same price or even better, I'd get a better Nerf, like the Nerf N-Strike Maverick - Colors May Vary or the NERF N-Strike Barricade RV-10, unless you are buying this for a 6 year old or younger kid.

Super awesome attachmentsDec 17, 2011
By J. Maks The picture says it all. Accurate firings. Spot-on viewfinders. Easy to assemble and un-assemble. Use at your own risk -- it might be too fun to put down. It's a perfect gift; but make sure you purchase one set for yourself! Let the games begin!!!

Bells and whistlesDec 29, 2010
By J. Tomas This Nerf blaster is probably my last choice to take into a Nerf gunbattle. It's easy to reload, true, as you can just stuff a dart in the barrel each time you fire. But I'm not a fan of single-shot Nerf guns, especially when up against people with clip-system blasters. By the time I pull out another dart from the front chambers and reload, I've been peppered. The rear-charging handle makes it easy to use the top tactical rails and place the scope and tactical light on top, but really, I think it looks ridiculous with both accessories on top of one another. Plus, the scope and light really don't do much; I find it easier to aim without them. I do like the light effect, same as on the Recon.
It doesn't have a very good range, nor do the darts fly too straight. I guess I could use it for close range battles, if my opponent is also armed with a single-shot blaster. But I'd much rather have my tried-and-true Maverick.
