Great for all types of water gun usage. The price is not bad at all for what you get in the box.
I am on a water gun team, and just bought this for my main water gun arsenal.
This gun has great fire rate and speed for a water gun, what it lacks in range is made up by fire rate.
It uses the new water clip technology that is pure genius. I would recommend buying 2 extra clips to
keep your water reservoir up. But other wise a great gun all the way around.

This gun shoots quite far, however the shot pattern is more of a cone and not the helical pattern on the box. It uses a ton of water quickly, but will drench your target with ease. Buy extra clips! I blasted my 4.5 year nephew over and over again for hours on end. I love this water gun, it was so much fun.

I bought my son a Super Soaker Hydro Fury Water Blaster 2-Pack. Works well, easy for a three-year old to use. This review isn't about that.
It's about the fact I will NOT be out gunned by my son this summer. Oh no! I shall rule! You see, in a few years he will be better than me at just about everything. Games, athletics, life in general. Such is the way of things. We should be hopeful for that.
But this summer I shall rule!
The gun is adequately built for summer fun. The magazine holds about ten shots worth of water so consider getting another clip. Firing is by the use of the pump handle/forestock, not a trigger. One pump, one shot. Nerf claims 20' of range. More like 15' effective, 20' max.
This summer, the boy is going down!

I rated this gun 4 stars overall. I got it because it reminds me of an actual assault rifle. As a water gun its pretty good. i tested it out and as for the pressure its good. its distance may not be great but it will definitely do the job. it has about 10 sprays 12 maximum before you actually run out of water. The refill tank allows you to just put another clip in and keep on soaking. The negative side to the water clips are just that you have to buy more. The positive is that if you do decide to buy more you couldnt possibly lose(depending on how much you buy) "major pumping is required" so it may not work for smaller kids but even a 6 yr old should be able to use this properly. Seeing as to how i bought it mainly for the look, ill also include that it has tactical rails which means you can add different attachments(sights) to the gun. (If you buy the shot blast from amazon you can get a sight) and it also comes with an adjustable stock attachment. Its great for a childs imagination. And great for me since bb guns are illegal where i love :/. i recommend this gun to anyone of any age.
On another note i bought this from target.com through amazon and the package came within 4 days even though it was expected to arrive in 8. it actually came before i package that is supposed to arrive today lol

As long as my grandson is satisfied, I give this a good rating. He happened to be at my house when it was delivered, so he happily tore open the box and took it home with him with a big grin on his face.
