Easy fun for kidsFeb 14, 2007

We bought a pair of these handy easel paper pads and pull them out on rainy or snowy days. The kids love using markers, crayons, foam stickers, glitter glue, whatever they get their hands on, and with the large 17x20 inch working space they can create their masterpieces for hours. At this great price you can afford to buy one for each kid and everyone is happy! We didn't bother buying the easel stand since our kids like spreading out on floor space. The stand up easel is better used when painting.

Good paper, overpriced hereDec 18, 2008
By M. Cecil Good paper from a reliable (relatively new) kid's brand. Their crayons are great. One thing though, this pad is available for five dollars less at my neighborhood kid's store, which is definitely not a big box discount store. So you can probably find this much cheaper than it is sold on Amazon, just about anywhere.

Very SturdyJan 07, 2009
By Bunky I was surprised to find that the paper was thicker than I thought it would be. It is great for when my daughter paints - nothing leaks through to the next page. Very nice product!

Nice, but isn't the same width as the M&D Easel.Jan 07, 2011
By Jolly Techie I had hoped it would be the same width as the Melissa and Doug Easel, because when my kids paint on it, they often go beyond the borders of the paper, and onto the whiteboard, which then makes it tough to clean up..The easy workaround to that is to simply put 2 pages in the "background" to cover up the entire whiteboard, so that kids can then paint away on this paper or the rolls of paper that came with the Easel, and if they miss the edge, the paint won't go on the whiteboard..

paper kind of flimsyJul 17, 2010

"low carb queen"
I thought this paper would be a heavier weight that it is. I had hoped to use it for fingerpainting with my grandchild but it won't hold up to that.
