Twice the price as on the Fisher Price website!!!Nov 01, 2009

I can't believe these dolls are sold for $12 on Amazon while they are sold $6 on the Fisher Price website! it is not something usual on Amazon, and it is disappointing to see that. Also, I can't find the size of the dolls anywhere.

Broke leg mommyAug 11, 2010
By Sue "Broken Leg Mommy" - That is the name my 2 year old gave this doll when the leg broke off after the 2nd day. There was clearly a production issue with the particular doll as the leg did not move freely before it broke. We have several other Loving Family dolls and have not had this problem. Since they are so "affordable" I just went and bought another set. It was not worth any hassle to return the product. Besides, by then the damage was done. The new mommy's name is "Fixed Leg Mommy". Both of my girls (2 & 4) play with both dolls. My husband says it is a good lesson that some people real people have limitations. I was pretty annoyed with the lack of Quality Assurance and would gladly pay more for these products if it meant they did a final inspection of the toy before putting it in the box.

By Jo Ny Why did they start putting "real" hair on these dolls? They frizz right out after a while, like a scary Barbie. The old original ones with the molded plastic hair were so much cuter--and tons easier to clean and keep nice looking. But overall the Loving Family collection is great and holds its play value for years.

By E. Saraeva I picked up a set at a local walmart for $6.44. The quality of the dolls is very good (not sure about the hair because we haven't had them for very long). The set i bought is exactly the same as in the picture except mom's knees bend. I agree that the mom is not the best looking but kids seem to not have a problem with it. I also bought a dad with a sister and i like the dad better but my little girl prefers the mom. Happy overall.

"Mother of Two"
I picked these up to go with the dollhouse that I purchased for my daughter for Christmas. The little girl is adorable. The mothat that comes with it is a little creepy looking though - her shoulders are really broad and manly looking. My daughter doesn't complain though and uses them on a regular basis. We love the Loving Family Dollhouse Collection and I can't say enough good things about it.
