I have 3 girls ages 4, 7 and 8, and they all Love these dolls! I couldn't wait til Christmas to give this one to them, and am planning to get more by then. I'm trying to teach them to collect but for now they all decided this will be to play with- I was happy to find this one, because I love her little story and outfit- and the owl is so cute! My kids love little toys so the owl has become a toy in itself- they make him talk to the other toys, and the doll has been carried everywhere and is the one they all want to sleep with. They make play voices for her to talk to their other dolls. I also love that there are little outfits and they can go online to learn more about each one:)

According the decorations at Walmart, the holidays are upon us. but I don't really mind that, because finding the right gifts to help Santa out can be tricky, and the more time the better. Younger children are so fun to shop for -- they love just about anything -- and its so much fun to buy the cute toys you discover! Older children are also pretty easy to shop for. New clothes, computers, the latest Apple product...
But middle children... are not so easy. If you have this dilemma too, you should check out MGA's hottest toy of the year, Lalaloopsy dolls. These are "dolly" dolls, like right out of a Rankin-Bass Christmas special. The idea is that each "rag" doll was sewn from a certain kind of fabric, and when the last stitch was done -- just like Frostie the Snowman -- they came to life, with a personality to match. From their button eyes, to their cutesy-cool outfits, to their large size, to their slightly punk aesthetic (way more "Nightmare before Christmas" than a Barbie or dimestore baby doll), I wouldn't be surprised if super-trendy college girls bought these to decorate their dorm rooms or carry around for fun, so no worries about your tween or teen. And the clever packaging -- befitting the doll within -- is absolutely darling. So creative and fun.
Lalaloopsy also has a super fun website where girls can play in 3D Land. My girls love going there and playing all the games.

My daughter has several (she is 3 1/2) and she loves them. She takes pillow featherbed with her everywhere. She talks to her in bed at night and takes her in the bath. She adores her. I have to say I think they are cute as well. I like that her head is large and she is simple to dress. They seem to be very well made, she does everything with hers. They have an online game she likes to play as well although I have to help her with most of that but she loves to see them walking around and playing. Not sure what someone would want out of this doll (other than to just play with it), great for little imaginations.

My daughter wanted this for Christmas. And she was so excited when she got it! However, she was a little disappointed that the whole thing is plastic. We expected her face to be plastic, but her hair and legs are also plastic. Not very easy to cuddle with. But she's still happy with it.

I like how Bea has beautiful blue eyes instead of black ones like most of the other Lalaloopsy dolls. Plus her school uniform is just so fashionable.
