Quality toy and fun!Jan 26, 2010

"Mommy of two"
My 2yr old son recieved this bus almost a year ago and still plays with it regularly. The open top allows for other non-Lego figures to go inside if a child desires. The two flap doors are fun to open and hide little toys inside besides the luggage. Both doors have been taken completely off many times and they have always popped right back in. The three figures that come with it are detailed and well made. Lego is a bit pricey but in this case the money really is buying quality...so maybe the price is right.

Very cute!Dec 24, 2009

This is such a cute addition to the Duplo sets. It's bigger than I thought it would be, just perfect for my daughter's hand to push along the floor. She loves to put the people inside the bus and take them for a ride. I think the grandfather figure is pretty cute, though I do wonder why they didn't include a parent. My daughter also loves that this set comes with luggage - very nice touch. She has spent literally hours over the past few months opening and closing the bus doors, seating the passengers and scooting it along the floor. As always, I love that Duplo blocks are so bright and colorful, and big enough for my little one to participate without such fear of choking (like with smaller Legos). Highly recommended!

Awesome...Oct 20, 2009

I just got it yesterday and my 2 year old started playing with it rightaway and didn't let go untill she slept. We named the characters, seated them sideways so that they can watch the scenery from the bus. Opened and closed luggages many times and placed them in the under carriage compartment.
So colorful and lively, this bus drew my girls attention the second she saw it. The only down side of this set is the Grandfather figure, it would be more fitting, for us, if it were a father figure. Well, I guess Lego Group shows their respect for the Grandparents and reminds us not to forget about them. I can always get a father figure from some other set.
I highly recommend this toy. Very simple yet very appealing for small kids, educational too. Just don't forget to supervise them. Although the parts are not that small, you'll never know, kids manage to pull off some incredible stunts.

Great Introduction To DuploFeb 25, 2011
By JudiAU We love Duplo. My 3.5 is endless imaginative and creates amazing stories and designs. I love that all Duplo pieces are safe to around my 18m daughter. Of course, she know loves them too. My son likes all Duplo, so he likes this too, but it is designed for the youngest kids. I bought this for my daughter and it is perfect because she can put people in and around and requires little building skill. It often goes to the park or sand pit like the dump truck. She can also unstack and stack a single four prong set of blocks too.
When he was little, I avoided the pieces that seemed less creative and/or more complete and didn't require a lot of building. But now I see the value in them and think there is a place for the less skilled pieces too.
Honk honk!
(And as always, Duplos last forever, can be easily washed, are made primarily in Europe, aren't toxic, and hold their value really well so you can sell them later!)
