My kids Love this!Jan 28, 2011
By R. Gough This was by far the best gift my kids received this Christmas! I bought this for my boys ages 5 & 7 and they use it nearly every day. Assembly was easy and we have not had any problems with the quality of this easel as of yet. I will update my review if we have any problems. The opening for the paper is 21" so it can accommodate several sizes of paper rolls. WE did have one of the plastic clips broken when we opened the box.
I was very pleased with the quality of the chalk board, it writes well and erases well. They have not used the dry erase board much so I really don't have much to review on that.

My kids still use this on nearly a daily basis and it has held up very well. Nothing has broken as of yet.

Horrible Construction..Shoddy DesignDec 29, 2010

"earthbound misfit"
We bought this for my son for Christmas. I bought it at Toys R Us and I wish I would have taken it back. The wood this is made from is either Pine or Basswood. Its extremely soft and it the pieces come out of the box warped. I mean badly warped, you see it plainly. When try to put the legs together the upper hinge was so flimsy that I almost broke it. As I was putting the bolts in I soon realized that the pre-drilled holes don't line up...and I mean they are not even close! And this is not even due to the warping of the wood. Some holes are a complete 1/4" or more off. I stood the legs up to attach the chalkboard and guess what?! The poor, thin wood that hold the 2 pieces of the legs together broke. Thats right, I didn't even get the thing assembled and it was already broke. I live to far to return the item so I finally had to get some wood screws and assemble it on my own since the bolts didn't fit anyways.
This is a Horrible, horrible toy with very shoddy construction. I thin Imaginarium should be ashamed for selling this terriblely sub-par toy.

What a waste of money and timeJan 04, 2012
By fatherof two While I am irked my wife and I wasted good money on this that could have been spent elsewhere. My main issue is trying to explain to our 3 year old daughter why Santa gave her a chalkboard that does not work.
The dry erase side works fine so hey maybe I can use it for the next corporate meeting but as a toy this was a big fat dud. My rating it a 1 star was being nice I feel.
