 Nice 1/12 scale dollhouse kitchenSep 12, 2010

Our daughter got a dollhouse for her second birthday, and I recently bought this set of kitchen furnishings for to go with it. It's one of two or three mass market dollhouse kitchen sets available.
Our daughter had quite a bit of fun playing with it. The stove top, which makes quite realistic boiling or tea kettle whistling sounds when pressed, was a special hit. It's also nice that the oven and dishwasher doors open, though the refrigerator has only a single door encompassing both the freezer and refrigerator secsions, rather than separate doors as appearances would suggest.
The pieces are made of sturdy plastic, helping to minimize breakage. The refrigerator door did pop out at one point, but was easily popped back into place. The styling is a bit unusual, but you can decide from the pictures whether you like it before you buy.
Overall this is quite a reasonable toy to go with a standard 1/12 scale dollhouse.

We got this kitchen in addition to the dollhouse. My daughter loves to uses the tea pot which makes noise...I like that the doors actually open on the appliances.

You really can't go wrong with Fisher Price! My granddaughters love to play with this set in their doll house.

Grand daughter feels like "The Beaver's mom" In my mind the best compliment I can give doll house furniture.
Pretty good value and holds up fairly well.

My niece loves this set as well as the grand house. We purchased all for christmas and the delivery was right on time, and the products were not damaged. Will buy more of the loving family line for her birthday.
