Fisher-Price Imaginext Sky Racers Carrier

The Imaginext Sky Racers Carrier includes an aircraft carrier playset, two figures, two planes, two helmets, flags, and seven projectiles.
Each plane represents a different team racing team - it's the Hawks vs. Rangers! The red plane is themed like a hawk and represents the (bad) "Hawks". The blue team represents the (good) "Rangers." Boys can use the Sky Racers Carrier to race their planes and collect the projectiles that are shot into the "water". Pull the lever to rapid fire the five buoys into the "water!"
The carrier includes multiple feature points including two activation disks. Turn one disk to expand the runway and turn the other disk to activate the plane elevator. Push the disk on the carrier to fire two buoys into the "water"! The carrier also includes a door that opens and closes, an anchor, a crane arm, and an elevator that goes up and down for the figures.

I bought this for my 5 1/2-year-old grandson. He really enjoys playing with this. It is much larger than I expected it to be but it is a nice size. Not realizing that two small planes came with it, I also ordered two planes that are much larger. My grandson has so much fun playing with them that I ordered a third larger plane, and now I am preparing to order yet another larger plane to go along with the other three.

I was skeptical when my mother bought my son this toy but he has had it for a couple of months and loves it. There's so many different activities associated with it. Definitely recommend buying a couple of extra planes to land on it. The only annoying part is that the disks fly all over the place but that's part of the fun. Very durable, anticipate it will last for years. Another great Imaginext toy!

First of all I LOVE the Imaginex products (we have the bat cave, boat and construction vehicles.) I really think they are one of the most durable products for kids on the market today. I bought this for my son's 5th birthday and was a little nervous it would be too 'young' for him since he is really starting to get into smaller figures (lego, playmobile etc...) but WOW .... he loves it. It is his favorite gift and he plays with it every day.

It is HUGE and there are so many compartments and things for the 'guys' to do: Fly the planes, stand on the look out tower, go under to get ready to fight! It really encourages my son's imaination and creativity. It comes with 2 guys and 2 small planes that are good - but very simple. I bought one of the larger planes and that is a lot of fun and my son is able to have battles and fly them together. As some of the other reviewers suggested a big plane is a nice addition but not completely necessary.

The disks drive me nuts since they are flying all over the house but that is one of the best parts acording to my son:) My youngest son is 18 months and he plays with it too - puts the guys in the planes and flys them around the house etc. It is so sturdy that I know it will be around for him to use as well.

I see both boys playing with this for a number of years - definaely worth the $$ for the size and detail - actually surprised it does not sell for much more!

The Fisher Price Imaginext Sky Racers Carrier is fantastic. My grandson is 4 3/4 years old and every day for a month he has played with it constantly. It does have 2 airplanes that comes with it that are about 5" long. He also already has 3 imaginext sky racers planes about 8" long , that he just constantly plays with and loves all the planes. I did pay only Target's low price for the carrier. Since, he loves playing with this all day long, it is will worth the price. The carrier is about 25" long, so it was alot bigger than what I thought it would be. Great toy!
