 A lot of fun in a small package!May 09, 2011

Ok, when I saw this in the store, I was hooked and had to get it immediately. This rugged little playset includes Kilowog, Hal Jordan, and Ch'p as action figures, along with a light-up lantern. I haven't had it put through the ringer yet, but it appears to be fairly tough. The only weak spot I see is in the white clip that is supposed to be used for making the figures fly around Oa. It's a little weak and I think over time it will probably break. It's not a necessary part of the set though so it will still be a great toy afterward.
The figures are sturdy just like the rest of the line of Super Friends. While I appreciate the inclusion of Hal Jordan, it would have been cool to have gotten a Kyle Rayner or Guy Gardner figure in there instead since Hal is available in other sets with the jet. Still, this is a minor complaint and I'm just happy to have 3 Green Lanterns to choose from in this one playset. It's a very well put-together set and it has a lot to keep a kid occupied. Move this next door to the Batcave set they offer and you've got a lot of fun!

My 4yr old loves this toy. He already had the Batcave and Jokers lair so this was a welcome addition to his playroom. We look forward to seeing more new Imaginex superhero toys in the future. Delivery was only 3 or 4 days even though it said it would be 5 to 8 days. Also came with a Imaginex DVD which he really enjoyed.

My son just received this for his fifth birthday and wanted to write a review. Here's what he has to say:
1. I like that the light glows. You can move it around to shine it on different things.
2. This is a good toy because it you can put the characters inside the green part and you can move things around.
3. Green Lantern's feet are easy to put in the "feet holes" to open and close the revolving door.
Mom here: This looks like a good, sturdy toy that will keep him busy imagining all sorts of scenarios for all of his Imaginext figures.
As usual, the parts are easy for little hands to manipulate, but it's not so simple that it's too young for him. He loves all the rooms and compartments for the figures.

I bought this play set for my 5 year old son who just loves superheroes. He already had the Imaginext Batcave, Joker's Fun House, and LOTS of other vehicles and bad guys. He actually had the Green Lantern jet already too (which actually goes great with this set!). I didn't even know this play set existed until I saw it on Amazon. My son was so excited when he opened the box and saw this inside. It is a wonderful new addition to his Imaginext superheroes play world. He loves all the different areas for the guys to stand and do battle and the light up green lantern that can be moved behind the green windows to make them glow. I definitely recommend this play set to anyone with a child who loves superheroes!

I have two boys, ages 3 and 4 and they really like this toy. We have some other action figures that work well with this. I like that it doesn't make noises or use batteries. This toy is great for imaginative play. I was skeptical about buying this but my son had some leftover birthday money and this is what he wanted. It was a good buy and I'm glad we have it.
