5tasty tasty crayonsJan 19, 2011
By Michael Hunt
My mom was too poor to buy me awesome name brand crayons like all the other kids had when I was little. Now that im all grown up and dont have to steal the worn out ones from Pizza Hut I bought my very own box. Its a little harder to stay in between the lines with your pinky up due to the fancyness of these Crayolas but im hoping my skills will improve with time.
PS. there arent even 24 colors in the rainbow! Crayola has done it again with their wizardry.

My box did arrive with a few broken tips from shipping so it may be better to buy local.

5Crayola Quality and Good Travel SelectionNov 17, 2010
By Naomi
Crayola crayons are always good ones, the sets they put together have the proper range of colors and the crayons last.

This is a good travel set of crayons with 24 colors that kids can use when it is not as easy to carry the larger sets, and the associated clean-ups that are needed when getting them back into the box.

5Best on the marketOct 12, 2009

This is the first year we were required by the school district to buy the 24 package of crayons for the students. Honestly, I've tried all those offbeat brands and nothing works like Crayola. I even buy these for the Shoeboxes that we send overseas with Franklin Graham's ministry. They hold up better, don't flake all over the place, the kid's clothes, etc., and the children just prefer the colors of these compared to the knock-offs. Kudos to Crayola - they've been making the best for years and no one has ever figured out how to make them better, because you can't! Highly recommend!

5Crayons: not just for elementary schoolDec 08, 2011
By Caitrin Eaton
I'm a graduate student who spends a lot of time reading technical articles. I like to print on both sides of the page to save paper, and hate it when highlighters bleed through. I've found that these crayons present a simple, affordable, and just plain happy solution to this problem. I keep this box of crayons in my purse and a larger box on my desk. They're wonderful for highlighting the closely spaced type in scientific journals, knocking out some quick diagrams while developing a new algorithm, and stress relief. I love these crayons, and recommend them for scientists of all ages :)

5it's crayola, just like the crayons you grew up withSep 01, 2011
By Kathy
I bought these as a replacement for some other brand of crayon (not sure of the brand but it had the Cars movie licensing instead of a "brand".) Anyway, you had to press really hard to get very little color. It was frustrating and the colored results were ugly. I bought these to replace the generic crayons and they are perfect - exactly what you expect from a crayon.

You can do subtle shading, the colors are very vivid and true. My daughter is only one so she's not pressing very hard but she's still able to make distinct marks and scribbles on the paper. It is fairly easy to clean off of the table with a wet towel.

This box has 24 which pretty much covers the spectrum of secondary and tertiary colors, not that my one year old cares but older kids would probably enjoy them!

Oh and they're a little hard to get back in the box, so we store them in a little plastic tupperware, it also makes it easier to find the color you want!
