huge picture of shark is a huge disappointmentNov 29, 2009
By joel buck My son wanted this for his birthday and was quite upset when the actual product was inflated. The box shows what appears to be a enormous shark to slide through. The actual shark is less than three feet tall and three feet long. The worst thing is the quality. The first time it was used the slide started to rip from the "pool" section. After setting it up 3 times it came right off. Don't wast your money on this piece of junk. If you do, make sure your local waste management service will recycle the plastic material.

Typical of Bonzai Toys....Jun 10, 2009

"historical fiction junkie"
My son got this for his 9th birthday. He played with it ONCE. The area where the hose attaches to the slide part ripped free. It is unusable now. I am disgusted that Bonzai seems to have the market cornered on water toys as they are cheaply made and just don't hold up at all.
I will be hunting for a better quality slip and slide NOT made by Bonzai and using the shark mouth (free standing piece) and the goggles (slight 3d action) on that.

bought it and returned it 2 times in 2 days!!Jun 17, 2009
By jujunadrian I have 2 small children (2 and 3) and they have wanted this product since the first time they saw the commercial. Dad surprised them with it the other afternoon, and as soon as we hooked the hose up to it, the main seem split open. we had to put the sprinkler up next to the slide part so that it would stay wet enough for them to truly use it, I took it back the next morning and exchanged it for a new one. I set up the new one and one of the retainer walls for the "pool" area had a hole in and would not hold water. I took it back AGAIN and got a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! very poorly made!!

Junk!Jul 15, 2009

We purchased this for our two children. When we opened the first one, it had two slits in the plastic. Naively, we exchanged it for a second one. When we inserted the hose, the first seam split. We were able to bypass the hole by inserting the hose further, but within 30 minutes the bottom of the slide ripped off. The plastic is about the thickness and toughness of a balloon. [...]. Don't waste your money!

shark water slide - great funJul 06, 2009

Bonzai shark water slide is great for my grandchildren's ages (6, 5, 3) It made it even more slippery by putting a blow-up ring around their waist when they ran, the ring made them go faster right into the shark's mouth. just make sure you anchor it down at the head, sometimes it slips.
