A fun, but messy, thing.Dec 07, 2010
By Jackie My 2 and 4 year old LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I filled two glass bowls with water and let them play away. It keeps them busy for 30 minutes or so. It is addicting playing with the sand and it is like magic how it stays dry. But then it is a chore to clean up. I put a piece of cloth over a colander and secured it with clothespins. I then dump the water with the sand into that and strain it out. I then use a spoon to put it back into the bottle with the funnel provided. It takes me a awhile, but it is a fun toy and they just love it. This is a messy toy, but at least it allows them to be creative. They won't be little forever, so I can handle a mess!

This Aqua Sand is fun for all ages. I am having fun with it and I am 42. I took the advice of another reviewer and just purchased the refill kit for just under $12.00. It comes with a scoop and nozzle. I took a clear plastic bin out and filled it with water and my 4 year old played for a long time with it. I only got out one color and told my 4 year old that if she spills much sand she won't have much for next time. There is not that much of a mess and scoops out very easy. I am very happy with this product.
